Post Game Review


Successes: 

  • Achieved our initial concept and created levels with fair unfair level design
  • Worked collaboratively
  • Finished the project on time
  • Met game requirements
  • Took user feedback and made significant improvements

Challenges:

  • On the last day we ran into merge issues
    • Had to create new repo
    • Rushed to fix the game to its original state
  • Gitignore caused animations to be ignored

What we learned:

  • Do not leave merging branches till the last day
  • Read every error message

Possible future revisions: 

  • More levels (obviously)
  • Create enemies to go along with the platformer challenges
    • More unfair = better
  • More sprites
  • More animation states
